Field sports of the British Isles have been part of Ros Goody’s life since she was a child and her connection with farming and country folk make her art and life complementary. “The days spent in pursuit of ideas and images are essential. Whatever the weather or the season I need to see the patchwork of colours, the changing light, the characters and the animals. Being there enables me to bring to life the atmosphere and energy of these moments.”
"An artist is primarily an observer, hearing speech but thinking in images."
