Farm Life
Whenever I am working, in any part of the world, I am involved with the farming community and their day - to - day lives. I spend time just wandering around watching, listening, sometimes taking part in the work, but all the time storing the images in my mind.
The general bustle of farm life is a great backdrop for picking out one or two images that instantly say to me, “that's it, that's what I want to paint”. There are a wealth of subjects, children, farm workers, cattle, horses, dogs, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks and many more....... all have their own character and by watching them in the work environment I can capture the spontaneity of the moment.
