This book is a diary of sketches, a record of my encounters with a variety of people at work and play with one common theme, they are wearing a hat! Hats are part of a uniform, a fashion statement or protection against the elements and often a very worn and battered favourite item! I found it fascinating to watch the way in which different people wore their hats and how, in a way, that showed their personalities.
